Wounded within the war, Tommy Donahue and DD Davis go back home from Iraq for their North Philadelphia slum neighborhood. Tommy returns the place to find his wife, Belief, whom he abandoned while she was pregnant. He meets his four-year-old daughter, Hope, the very first time, and she or he starts to melt his frozen heart.
